The UK Prime Minister plans to press allies to deliver Ukrainian forces with additional advanced missile systems to hit enemy locations during talks in the UK capital on Friday.

The prime minister is set to welcome Ukraine's leader Zelensky alongside what's known as "group of committed partners", including over twenty of Kyiv's partners who have agreed to grant the Ukrainian government protection commitments once hostilities pause is brokered.

Zelensky has been urging for weeks for further advanced missile technology from the West, a step that Moscow has cautions would escalate the war.

Ukraine's leader is journeying from Brussels, where he held talks with European representatives on Thursday seeking funding aid.
