It's tough for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a team that has achieved everything.

That comment will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup should hear.

During the last week a feeling they will win from any position has become more firm - this success succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.
